Every Daisy & Doodle experience requires planning, preparation, reserved time and materials selected specifically for your group. This policy helps us keep our booking process fair and consistent while recognizing that sometimes plans change.

This policy applies to Daisy & Doodle birthday parties, private parties, private craft experiences, group events, Girl Guide groups, youth programming and other pre-booked group experiences.

Please review the section that applies to your booking, as deposit and cancellation requirements differ between private events and youth programming.

Payment of your booking deposit confirms that you have read and accepted the terms outlined below.

PRIVATE PARTIES & PRIVATE EVENTS

This section applies to birthday parties, private craft parties, bachelorette parties, private group experiences, craft bars and other private event bookings.

Booking Deposit

A 50% booking deposit is required to reserve your Daisy & Doodle private event.

Your deposit is applied toward the total cost of your booking.

Your requested date is not considered reserved or confirmed until the required deposit has been received.

The remaining balance and final participant count are due 7 days before your scheduled event.

Cancellation — 14 or More Days Before Your Event

If you cancel your private event 14 or more days before the scheduled date, your booking deposit will be refunded minus a $75 cancellation and administrative fee.

If your deposit is $75 or less, no refund will be issued.

Alternatively, you may choose to transfer your booking to one new event date, subject to Daisy & Doodle's availability.

Cancellation — 7 to 13 Days Before Your Event

Cancellations made 7–13 days before your scheduled event are non-refundable.

However, you may transfer your booking and payments to one new event date, subject to Daisy & Doodle's availability.

Only one rescheduling is permitted per booking.

If the rescheduled event is subsequently cancelled, your deposit is forfeited and no refund, credit or additional rescheduling will be provided.

Cancellation — Less Than 7 Days Before Your Event

All private event bookings become final less than 7 days before the scheduled event.

At this point:

• No refunds will be issued.
• No credits will be provided.
• The event cannot be rescheduled.
• Payments cannot be transferred to another booking.
• Final participant numbers cannot be reduced.

This reflects the supplies, materials, preparation time and scheduling commitments already made for your event.

GIRL GUIDE & YOUTH PROGRAMMING

This section applies to Girl Guide units, youth organizations, community youth programs and similar organized youth group bookings.

Booking Deposit

A $75 non-refundable booking deposit is required to reserve your Daisy & Doodle Girl Guide or youth programming experience.

The $75 deposit is applied toward the total cost of your booking.

Your requested date is not considered reserved or confirmed until the deposit has been received.

The remaining balance and final participant count are due 7 days before your scheduled experience.

Cancellation — 14 or More Days Before Your Experience

The $75 booking deposit is non-refundable.

However, if you provide at least 14 days' notice, you may choose one of the following options:

Option 1 — Reschedule

Your $75 deposit may be transferred to one new booking date, subject to Daisy & Doodle's availability.

Only one rescheduling is permitted.

Option 2 — Convert Your Booking to Take-Home Craft Kits

You may choose to convert your original in-person experience into take-home DIY Craft Kits for your group.

The take-home craft kit order will be prepared based on the same total value as your original booking.

Your $75 deposit will be applied toward that total, and the remaining balance of the original booking will still be due.

No cash refund will be provided for any portion of the $75 deposit.

Cancellation — 7 to 13 Days Before Your Experience

If your Girl Guide or youth programming booking is cancelled 7–13 days before the scheduled date, the $75 booking deposit is forfeited.

The deposit:

• Is non-refundable
• Cannot be transferred to another date
• Cannot be converted to DIY Craft Kit credit

Any payments made above the $75 deposit will be refunded.

Cancellation — Less Than 7 Days Before Your Experience

All Girl Guide and youth programming bookings become final less than 7 days before the scheduled experience.

At this point:

• No refunds will be issued.
• No credits will be provided.
• The experience cannot be rescheduled.
• The booking cannot be converted to DIY Craft Kits.
• Payments cannot be transferred to another booking.
• Final participant numbers cannot be reduced.

Supplies and materials have been purchased and/or prepared specifically for your confirmed group at this stage.

POLICIES THAT APPLY TO ALL BOOKINGS

The following policies apply to private events, Girl Guide experiences, youth programming and other Daisy & Doodle group bookings.

Final Participant Count

Your final participant count is due 7 days before your scheduled event or experience.

Once your final participant count has been provided, that number becomes your minimum billable participant count.

If fewer participants attend on the day of your event, refunds or credits will not be provided for absent participants because their materials have already been purchased and prepared.

Additional participants may be added after the final participant deadline only if Daisy & Doodle confirms that supplies, preparation time and space allow.

Additional participant fees must be paid before the event unless otherwise arranged with Daisy & Doodle.

Final Payment

Unless otherwise stated at the time of booking, the remaining balance is due 7 days before your scheduled event or experience.

Your booking must be paid in full before the scheduled experience takes place.

Failure to submit the remaining balance by the required deadline may result in cancellation of the booking.

Rescheduling

Where rescheduling is permitted under the applicable cancellation policy, each booking may be rescheduled once only.

All replacement dates are subject to Daisy & Doodle's availability.

Once a booking has been moved to a new date, it cannot be rescheduled again.

If a rescheduled booking is subsequently cancelled, the applicable booking deposit is forfeited and no additional refund, credit or rescheduling will be provided.

Changes to the experience, participant count, location, materials or other booking details may result in a change to the original price. Any additional costs will be communicated before the rescheduled booking is confirmed.

DIY & Take-Home Craft Kits

DIY and take-home craft kits are prepared specifically for your group.

Full payment is required before kit preparation begins unless otherwise arranged with Daisy & Doodle.

Once preparation or purchasing of materials has begun, DIY Craft Kit orders are non-refundable.

Changes to quantities after preparation has begun are subject to material availability and may result in additional charges.

Weather, Facility Closures & Unexpected Circumstances

Safety comes first.

If severe weather, facility closures or other circumstances outside either party's reasonable control make it unsafe or impossible to proceed with an experience, please contact Daisy & Doodle as soon as possible.

Where possible, Daisy & Doodle will work with the organizer to find a mutually agreeable alternative date.

Weather-related or emergency rescheduling is subject to availability and will be considered based on the individual circumstances.

A weather-related cancellation does not automatically qualify for a refund.

Event Location

The organizer is responsible for ensuring that the event location is appropriate for the booked activity and has sufficient tables, chairs, lighting and space for participants unless otherwise agreed upon.

Any special location requirements will be discussed before the booking is confirmed.

If the location changes after booking, please notify Daisy & Doodle as soon as possible.

A significant change in location or travel requirements may result in an additional travel fee.

Youth & Child Supervision

For Girl Guide groups, youth programming, birthday parties and other experiences involving children or youth, the organization's leaders, Guiders, parents, guardians or designated adults remain responsible for participant supervision, behaviour and safety throughout the event.

Daisy & Doodle is responsible for providing and leading the booked craft experience.

Daisy & Doodle staff are not acting as childcare providers during an event.

The appropriate supervising adults must remain present throughout the experience.

Supplies & Craft Projects

Craft projects may vary slightly from promotional photographs or examples depending on material availability.

When substitutions are necessary, Daisy & Doodle will make reasonable efforts to provide materials of similar quality, style and value.

Some projects may also be adjusted based on participant age, group size or the requirements of the booked experience.

If Daisy & Doodle Needs to Cancel

In the unlikely event that Daisy & Doodle needs to cancel your scheduled experience, we will first work with you to find a suitable replacement date.

If a mutually agreeable replacement date cannot be arranged, all payments made for the affected booking, including the deposit, will be refunded in full.

Acceptance of Booking Terms

Payment of a Daisy & Doodle booking deposit confirms that the person or organization making the booking has reviewed and accepted the applicable terms of this Private Events & Group Booking Policy.

The person completing the booking is responsible for communicating relevant booking information and policies to their group or organization where necessary.
